My adipose Estrid.

I just had to write a quick post and show you my darling Estrid who I got from my parents as a Christmas present. Isn't she the cutest ever? I am literally obsessed with her (and yes, it's a girl). These adiposes actually feel like some kind of fat, which is at first kind of gross, but shortly afterwards you get used to the feeling and it's actually really anti-stressful (which is the true purpose of this toy although I'm simply going to have it as a cute marshmellowish-toy.)

Another Doctor Who-present I got from my parents was the second season of Doctor Who (with David Tennant as The Doctor) which I'm going to watch during this holiday :D

DIY Game of Thrones snowflake

I am all for DIY-projects. Especially when it envolves one of my favourite fandoms, Game of Thrones. Since it is quite some time until the next season I searched on youtube in the hope of finding some Game of Thrones related things and I found this:

So adorable and fun to do. I tried to do it and although it was quite difficult in the beginning it got easier towards the end and I actually think it turned out quite well. All you need is a pair of scissors (I started out with a pair of quite big scissors but switched them for a pair of really small scissors since it was easier to cut out all the small parts with that one) a printer and some paper. The patterns for doing these snowflakes can be found on this website. I made the snowflakes for House Targaryen and House Stark since they are my favourite houses but there are several other house-patterns on the website.

Since it's only a couple of days until Christmas I want to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and I hope you'll have time to take it easy and simply enjoy the holiday.

Regeneration Carol!

I literally can't take all the awesomness that is going on right now. The Hobbit, Doctor Who, Starkid etc. Now we've got an early Christmas present from Not Literally and Matt Elliott. They've uploaded their "Regeneration Carol" - A Doctor Who Christmas parody. It features Ginny (as Clara), Dana (as River Song) and Matt Elliott (as the Doctor). It isn't as long as their usual videos but it is equally good! So, what I'm going to do this Christmas is set this song on repeat and rewatch Star Trek: The Next Generation (and patiently wait for The Doctor Who Christmas Episode to air :D )
